In collaboration with a consortium of private health insurance companies, Insiders has developed an app that enables privately insured persons to collect, store and manage their personal health data with their mobile device. In addition to the master data, the insured persons have access to important personal health information such as emergency data, medication plans, medical reports or vaccination certificates at any time via their smartphone. All necessary requirements for data security and data protection are fully guaranteed.
The GeoMedis app is now available in the app stores for customers of the health insurance companies ALTE OLDENBURGER, Provinzial Hannover and Concordia. Also customers of the other health insurance companies involved will soon be able to benefit from the application.
With the GeoMedis app developed by Insiders, health insurance companies are implementing important requirements and basic functionalities of the eHealth Act for the digitization of health care. The app also enables the insured person to access his or her health data from several mobile devices through the optional use of a cloud. In addition, insured persons can - as before - conveniently and securely transfer medical services mail to the insurer by using the app.
